GUJARAT CORONA UPDATE 13 SEPTEMBER 2020


The Corona vaccine is expected to be ready by the first quarter of 2021, Union Health and Family Welfare Minister Harsh Vardhan said today. It is unknown at this time what he will do after leaving the post. The vaccine is expected to be ready by the first quarter of 2021. Harsh Vardhan also said that the government was also considering for emergency authorization of senior citizens and those working at high risk for their Covid-19 vaccination. The number of corona cases is steadily increasing across Saurashtra, including Rajkot. 98 cases have been reported in Rajkot today. The total number in Rajkot has crossed 4400. The number of corona cases in Rajkot has reached 4442. At present 1444 patients are undergoing treatment in Rajkot. Around 100 cases of corona are being reported daily in Rajkot city. Rajkot has become the hotspot of Corona. A record-breaking death has taken place in Rajkot today. 36 patients have died in 24 hours. In which 21 patients from Rajkot city, 9 from rural and 6 from other districts have died. The highest number of deaths so far in a single day. As many as 17 cases have been reported in Gondal town and village till noon. A further 99 cases have been reported in Jamnagar today.
