Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman has presented the budget for the year 2021 on Monday. There has been a change in the duty on electronics products. Buying an AC can be expensive
The price of AC may go up this year as the duty on AC compressors has increased from 12.5% to 15%.

LED lighting is more expensive
Import duty on LED lights has been increased by 5% this year. The previous 5% duty has been increased to 10%. So the price of imported LED bulbs, lights and fixtures may go up from April 1.

In this budget, the government has increased the duty on solar lamps from 5% to 15%. The cost of branded or imported solar lightning devices may increase.
